(Desert Hot Springs, CA) - Team Mom Charities is hosting a scavenger hunt to celebrate Black History Month. According to Margaret Webb, founder, and president of Team Mom Charities, "this event will give homeschoolers a field trip. The scavenger hunt will be fun and educational about black history. Prizes will be given out to the top five winners. This event will give parents and their children a chance to explore different businesses we have featured on our scavenger hunt."
"We're really excited that the Desert Hot Springs library has joined the scavenger hunt, along with places like Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity sponsored the event by helping one of our residents with furniture. Many businesses in our city are struggling due to the Covid-19. And we have lots of families that are struggling as well, so we will be helping through prizes won on the scavenger hunt," Webb said.
