Homeless Walk 2012 fundraising luncheon
Roy’s Resource Center hosted a luncheon on July 25, 2012 as a fundraiser for Helene Nelson’s walk for the homeless.
Helene plans to walk along the coast from Washington state to Huntington Beach, California beginning in September. Along the way she will be interviewing homeless people and living as they do.
The purpose of her walk is to raise Desert Hot Springs portion of the annual contribution to keep Roy’s Resource Center open to meet the needs of our homeless population.
